Our mission is simple – we raise money to give money!

The Young Texans ACS raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year with the single goal to give back to local cancer charities and beneficiaries. Our funds are raised through a variety of efforts including our signature events, membership activities, generous donors, and corporate sponsors.

Our organization joined forces with one of the largest cancer-fighting organizations in the nation with more than 100 years of leadership and research in the field, the American Cancer Society. Together, we will work to help with their mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer and as Dallas’ young professional’s arm while having the most fun possible.

Our organization was established in 2001 as Young Texans Against Cancer by individuals in the Houston. The founding members had something in common: Cancer. Some had personally battled cancer while others witnessed loved ones struggling with the illness.
Inspired by their similarities and struggles, the founding members created YTAC to increase cancer awareness among their generation of young professionals and the community. Our organization has raised over $2 million in support of the fight against cancer.

The Dallas chapter was established in 2007 and became an independent organization in 2019. Having served as a young professional nonprofit for over a decade, we merged with the American Cancer Society to take our fight against cancer to the next level!
