Volunteer From Anywhere
Find flexible or virtual opportunities that work with your schedule. The American Cancer Society offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities ranging from skills-based projects to supporting our fundraising events, advocacy and much more. During this time of social distancing, you can also host an online fundraiser.

Hope Lodge
Help make cancer patients feel at home. The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Network provides free, home-like accommodations for cancer patients who have to travel for treatment. There are several ways volunteers can help with daily Hope Lodge operations such as preparing meals, providing entertainment, planning special events and activities, and improving the facility and grounds. The Dallas location is scheduled open 2021, but donations can benefit all locations.

Relay For Life®
Pull an all-nighter for a good cause! Camp out overnight and walk or run around a track to raise funds for the fight against cancer. Relay For Life is an opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Volunteers help with registration, logistics, and other unique opportunities based on the event’s location. Or you can be a Relay For Life team member or team leader and volunteer your time toward participating in the event and fundraising. Relay For Life’s volunteer-driven model help make it the most successful fundraising event in the world.

ACS Cancer Action Network
Help legislate federal and state cancer laws. Use your passion for politics to help enact laws and policies that will make cancer a top national priority. American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network℠, ACS CAN, volunteers work to make sure our leaders take real steps toward finishing the fight against cancer. As an ACS CAN volunteer you will meet with legislators, plan events, encourage new membership, and help make phone calls to help increase federal cancer research funding for the National Institutes of Health, as well as many other significant accomplishments.
